For millennia, henna (Lawsonia inermis) has been used in India, the Maghreb, and the Middle East to color and strengthen hair. The Mahogany shade takes its name from its resemblance to the precious wood of the same name: a deep, warm reddish brown, ideal for revitalizing dull or dark hair and light to medium-brown hair.

This Vatika hair color combines traditional henna with complementary plant-based ingredients recognized in Ayurvedic hair care:amla (Indian gooseberry), rich in vitamin C and renowned for strengthening the hair fiber, neem, with purifying properties for the scalp, and shikakai, known in India as “hair fruit” for its gentle cleansing action. The result: beautiful, luminous reddish-brown highlights and visibly revitalized hair.

⚠️ Ingredient transparency : in addition to henna, this product contains complementary coloring agents (including PPD — paraphenylenediamine — and resorcinol) that produce a rich, long-lasting color. It is therefore not pure plant-based henna, but a henna-based hair color. We want to make this clear before your purchase.

🚨 Hair colors containing phenylenediamines may cause allergic reactions. Do not use to dye eyelashes or eyebrows. Do not use in case of a facial rash or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp. A 48-hour skin test before each use is strongly recommended, especially for anyone who has never used this type of hair color. Not suitable for children.

0. Perform a patch test 48 hours before application, even if you have used this product before.

1. Mix one sachet of powder with approximately 40 ml of water until you obtain a smooth paste.

2. Apply evenly using an applicator brush, focusing on the roots. Wear the gloves provided.

3. Leave on for 30 minutes.

4. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until all residue has been completely removed.
